Sights and sounds

Caught your attention with that, didn't I? I do hope you have only the utmost respect for all librarians, even the ones who only shush you when you're much too loud in their homes.

Once upon a time, I seriously contemplated getting my masters in Library Science. I hadn't thought it through completely, except to acknowledge that it was my way of getting close to books. All the books. So many books. All that knowledge and fun.

And the scent of them...

What? It can't just be me. I'm sure there's a word for getting turned on by books*? Google isn't immediately helpful, so moving on to the point.

One of my favorite authors (which is actually a duo of writers) Kit Rocha started a new series about MERCENARY LIBRARIANS.

They've written several other series, also under the alias Moira Rogers, but hands down, their Beyond Series is my favorite. It's one of those series that I reread. Sometimes for the dirty or love parts, sometimes for the futuristic post-apocalyptic parts, sometimes for the bootlegging parts, and sometimes because I love them so much.

The first one of this new series is on sale for $2.99 (ebook only at this price) and if you'd like a new book, set in the same world of the Beyond Series (so things are ca-razy), this is a good one, at a great price. I'm not getting a commission here, just spreading the Kit Rocha love. Let me know if you read it and what you think.
